I always bang on about Edinburgh being magic. I have this habit of making things seem whimsical and full of magic and I don’t mind it one bit. Because to me it is and I’ll never tell you otherwise.
Victoria street in Edinburgh is said to the be inspiration for Harry Potter. JK Rowling sat at a cafe over looking the castle, Greyfriars, the streets below and concocted her stories of wizards and wonder. Unfortunately there was a devastating fire some years ago and the Elephant House Cafe had to close.
But why am I telling you this?

Well… A little more magic is coming to the street! Right in the middle of one of the prettiest streets in the city, the Elephant House Cafe is reopening it’s doors in the form of a Magic Cafe, serving hot chocolate and Butter beer… with a beautiful view of Dragon Alley itself.
I’m excited to see this magic come to the city! You HERD it here first (pun intended). I’ll also be helping out on their social media pages, so if you do want to follow along with the magic, you can do here: Elephant House Cafe - Magic Cafe ✨
Who fancies a butter beer?
